Spotted lady
beetle (Adalia bipunctata) - species of ins ect of the family biedronkowatych beetles in a row. Achieves 3.5 - 5.5 mm in length. Its characteristic feature is the large varia tion in the drawing of the wing covers or polymorphism. In extrem e cases, the differences may be so large that two individuals of the same species may appear as if belonging to entirely different species. There are mainly two basic varieties of color: one with the red roof and a black stain on each and przedpleczem białawo-or yellowish-black, the other all black, with 2 or 3 red spots on each cover and a bright rim at the sides przedplecza.
